Project samples

These samples are chosen as typical projects of the last 15 years. In total Hans Licht was involved in over 150 projects, varying between personal development programs, reorganisations and policy programs.

Reorganisation of three  nature protection foundations at provincial level
Result:
New organisational structures with changed management structures were developed. Employees were replaced on new jobs in the new structure.

Hans Licht performed as interim manager to develop a new structure fitting to the change of functions as nature ground administration to a broader function with communication and marketing.

Implementing project management at a division of Sara Lee
Result:
The organization developed a planning cycle based upon a new organizational structure and steering philosophy. Besides a method for research and development project management was delivered.

Hans Licht conducted a training program Project Management for the researchers. He developed a planning cycle in cooperation with a colleague and the management team and helped implementing this cycle.

MIG (modernizing noise reduction policy)
Result:
A policy note for the Parliament was developed, containing a complete new system for standards and decentralization of authority from central government to local authorities.
During five years the complete law system for noise reduction was redesigned in cooperation with five ministries, all provinces, the society of communities and many Non-governmental organizations. This change effectuates billions of investments on yearly base and implements a decentralizing authority from the ministry of Housing, Physical planning and Environmental affairs to the community level.  ORG-ID supported this program with project secretary, strategic consultancy and facilitating processes in cooperation with a big engineering company DHV.

Hans Licht was project leader for the support of ORG-ID and DHV. He was strategic consultant for the program manager, project leader of some administrative projects and facilitator in workshops, meetings and symposia.

IVP (integral safety program)
Result:
An action plan for the ministry of Home Affairs, the ministry of Justice, provinces, communities and safety agencies was developed, including projects to improve safety in the Netherlands.
This project was pointed as a pilot for interactive policy making by the ministry of Home Affairs.

Hans Licht was asked for strategic advisory to the project team (ministry of Home Affairs and the ministry of Justice) and facilitator of workshops. He broadened the project with involvement of many parties from society.

Evaluation ‘Uddevalla paketet’
Result:
An report analyzing the critical success factors of the closing of the Uddevalla Wharf (Sweden) and redesigning of a new economical infrastructure.

Hans Licht and his business partner researched the critical success factors in the Uddevalla Paketet. Besides a desk research they interviewed all key actors in this process.

Professionalizing researchers of the National Audit Chamber
Result:
Developed skills and insights by a training program directed to a change of culture and position of the National Audit Chamber. Besides this training a learning structure with evaluations and inter-collegial consultation was implemented.
ORG-ID developed a program for reflection on the professional behavior of researchers of the National Audit Chamber. This program contained a training program for all 300 researchers, an implemented learning structure and workshops with the management team.

Hans Licht was project leader of this program.

Development of a contract for the Council for the Green Heart of Holland
Result:
A redesigned contract for the Council for the Green Heart of Holland was signed by 26 representatives of all involved authorities (two ministries, three provinces, eight district water boards and the community of the Green Heart) and Non-governmental Organizations, like Chambers of Commerce, the Dutch Tourist Board, Nature and environmental protection and the Farmer-branch.

Hans Licht evaluated the effectiveness and efficiency of the Council and developed a redesigned contract for the Council and supported in coherence the development program for the Green Heart of Holland.
